Design Services with a purchase:
We charge a $200 retainer fee for initial design consultation.
Once you have paid the fee, the design process has three phases.
1. The designer will contact you and make an appointment to
visit your site. On that visit the designer will do a survey of
the areas involved in the design project. The designer will
discuss your goals for the rooms, use of existing furnishings and
accessories. The designer may make some initial suggestions, and
probably will take some photos and measurements.
2. The designer will then take that information back to our
store and develop a design solution for your space.
3. The designer will contact you and make an appointment for
you to visit our store. At that visit we will make an in-depth
presentation with furniture, window treatments, fabric selections,
accessories, and elevations and floor plans when necessary.
The $200 retainer is applied toward a purchase if a purchase of
$2,500 is made within 90 days. If a minimum purchase of $2,500 is
not made the $200 is not refundable.
If you have paid for a window treatment design consultation, the
retainer for an initial design consultation done at the same time is
waived.
If additional trips to your site are required, addition fees may
be required depending on the amount of purchases made.
Design Services without a purchase:
Our design services are available without a purchase. In these
cases we charge a design fee of $100 per hour with a minimum charge
of $400. This design fee does not apply toward merchandise, and no
purchase is necessary.
This service can include:
1. On-site survey of the area to be involved in the design
project
2. Preparation of floor plans, sketches, and budgets.
3. Research of and visits to other suppliers of furniture, rugs,
fabrics, and other services.
4. Arranging your existing furnishings and accessories.
5. Consulting on interior and exterior colors.
