Case Brothers Mission Furniture - Handmade Furniture by Samuel S. Case Cabinetmakers

JOIN US NOW FOR OUR LAST SALE. IT HAS BEEN OUR PLEASURE TO CREATE HANDCRAFTED FURNITURE FOR 23 YEARS, BUT SOON OUR DOORS WILL BE CLOSED.

Our Case Brothers collection includes careful reproductions of furniture from the Mission period (1890-1915) as well as new designs by Samuel S. Case done in the spirit of the period. All pieces are made by hand in your choice of American Black Cherry or quarter sawn White Oak. Quarter sawn White Oak was the wood of choice during the period. It is sawn from the log using a special technique that exposes the rays of the wood resulting in a highly figured wood. The technique results in a high waste factor, making the wood too costly for use by most furniture factories. We offer two finishes for Oak and a clear natural finish for Cherry.

The Case family has been working wood in Virginia since the late 18th century, so it is logical that we are very traditional in our methods. We use old time mortise and tenon construction, dovetails and other time consuming methods that much of the mainstream furniture industry avoids. We strive to provide the best in old time customer service and offer a 30 day 100% satisfaction or your money back guarantee on all of our standard furniture pieces.
